Cookies on this site
We store as little as we can. A cookie is a small file a website keeps in your browser. Some of what we list is not a cookie but works in a similar way, so we list it too.
Set without asking, because you used a feature that needs them
- na_consent remembers your answer about counting visits, so we do not ask on every page. It holds only "granted" or "denied". It lasts 1 year.
- na_theme remembers whether you chose the light or dark look. It is only set if you press the theme button. It lasts 1 year.
- na_ty is only set after you send one of our forms. It lets the thank-you page greet you by name without putting your details in the web address. It holds your first name, your email address and which form you sent, encrypted. It is deleted when the thank-you page opens, and after 10 minutes at most.
- Form drafts are not cookies but browser storage on your own device. They save what you type in a form, so you can close the tab and come back. Nothing is sent to us until you press send. A draft is deleted once the form has been sent. If you leave it, we stop using it after 7 days and delete it the next time you open the form; until then it stays in this browser. On a shared computer, clear your browser's data for this site when you finish.
Only if you say yes
- Vercel Web Analytics counts visits so we know which pages help people. As Vercel describes it, it uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page, the site you came from, your country, and your device and browser type. It does not identify you, and the code that tells one visit from another is discarded after 24 hours. If you say no, it does not load. If you change your answer to no, it stops sending anything straight away.
Run by other companies
- Cloudflare Turnstile runs on our form pages only, and only while our forms are switched on. It checks that a person, not a program, is sending the form.
- Sentry tells us when a page breaks. It stores nothing on your device. Our privacy notice explains what it receives.
- Vercel Speed Insights measures how quickly each page loads and responds. It uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It runs unless you say no to counting visits, and stops straight away if you do. Our privacy notice explains what it receives.
